Twitter for Link Building

…continuation from Link Building with Twitter

Whenever you announce a site through “tweets,” your followers and those you followed would be able to see your link. There are great chances that out of 100, there are at least 5-10 who will click on your link, and read whatsoever is in it which would interest the readers. Five to ten Twitterers to click on you link is really small. But, each of them has also hundreds of Twitterers. If your link is re-tweeted by a Twitterer who has hundreds of avid followers, there are great chances of getting hundreds of traffic; and there are chances that those hundreds of Twitterers would also re-tweet your link. Then, the followers of those hundreds of Twitterers would also re-tweet what you have posted. Of course, this will happen if your website possesses the quality that would represent the reputable image of your business.

Twitter works like how viral marketing does. But in terms of internet marketing business opportunities, Twitter has more advantages over the usual viral marketing.

I can say that Twitter is a great tool in generating web traffic for your site. The more traffic your site has, the more likely that you get buying customers. The goal of SEO and all sorts of web marketing strategies is actually generating returns on investment, not just getting higher ranking in the search engine results pages. Twitter is such a practical SEO link building strategy.
