…continued from “What Do Search Engines Like“
Pages: Web pages must be readable not only by humans but also by search engine robots. Though it is “eye candies” for internet visitors to have cool stuff on your site such as JavaScript and Flash objects, search engines cannot read them. If your site is loaded with these stuff, there’s no way for search engines to tell what your site is all about. You will be having troubles with ranking or getting visible in the search engine results page; all your SEO efforts would be useless. No one likes to have all their web marketing efforts wasted into nothing, as much as you, right? So, it is better to have a simple and functional site that are not just user-friendly but search engine-friendly as well.
Site Theme: Your site must be properly and well-thought of before the designing efforts are performed. You must know the market niche you are in and where you think you can manage to compete. Comes with determining where or what your market is, you have to know the theme of your site. The background, the content, the images, even the fonts of your contents–the entire layout of your website must be in relevance with what your web marketing business is all about. In other words, your site must be tightly-themed. Search engines are having trouble with sites that are having a vague theme. Certainly, you wouldn’t want to get troubles like this, right?
If these points are followed by heart and by practice, expect more favorable outcome for your site and your web marketing venture as a whole. You will lead in the market niche you have chosen.
